On Friday I went to the DMV and now I feel a little bit more like a real New Yorker - I have a New York State drivers license! And I'm registered to vote. Well, I almost do. I takes them two weeks for them to mail it to you - who knew they didn't give it to you on the spot . . . I could have gotten a fake ID faster :)
Even though I've lived here for over two years, it was still a little painful to give away my GA license, Georgia will always be on my mind - even if it's not in my wallet :)
