Last Friday I went to Fuerzabruta with Holly, Karen C and Mel. The off-broadway show came highly recommended from a co-worker, but I didn’t quite know what to expect. I was chatting with Caisa that afternoon and told her about it and sent her the Web site. I think she put it best: “so it's like cirque on acid.” While I’ve never been to a Cirque du Soleil show, I think she came up with the best description. There was treadmill running, a slip-n-slide big fishbowl hovering over our heads, an aerial catfight on a tinfoil curtain and dancing in the rain. Part show. Part club. Loved it.
