The Way I Am

Monday I went to The Hotel Café Tour, which is promoted as one band, one bus and a bunch of friends on the road. It was one of the best, most unique concerts I’ve ever been to. The artists at the NYC stop were Ingrid Michaelson, Cary Brothers (who started the tour three years ago), Joshua Radin (who I’d never heard of, but am now in love), Meiko and Priscilla Ahn. Each artist played a few songs, and then a few other artists came up on stage and played with them – no time between sets, just a bunch of extremely talented friends coming and going from the stage. It was great.



Oh, and I like Ingrid Michealson even more when she said introduced her song “Overboard” by saying she was inspired by the movie Overboard! Classic.
