The Boat

I love hanging out with my family, and while we were exhausted after sightseeing all day everyday we still found time to play on the boat.

I fell in love with the Quiet Area on deck - no annoying kids, no awful band, just comfy lounges. We'd rush up once we got back on the boat from our excursions to watch the boat leave the port, read and enjoy the sun.

We ate. In case we didn't get enough gelato and crepes on land, we made sure we got plenty of soft serve and crepes on board. We might have made friends with the crepe server - five girls, a nightly ritual, he started to notice :) We might have coordinated which show we went to based on when we could go back to the dinning hall for dessert. Come on, this is normal. :) Sam may have eaten too much.

We bowled. Yes, you read that correctly. There was a bowling alley on the boat. Mom kept blaming her pathetic score on the boat rocking. Of course it only rocked when we bowled a bad score, but whatever.

Oh and one more thing - on flights in the States you usually have to pay for a "snack," but on Iberia they passed out complementary Kit Kat bars - and it was 9 am! That's what I'm talking about.

We had a fabulous vacation - THANK YOU DADDY!
