G-dog aka Grandma
Yes, we really do call our Grandma G-dog; it started quite a few years ago and really stuck. I grew up having birthday dates (we share the same birthday) and Sunday dinners at Grandmas. She's the best. I haven't seen her since Christmas and probably won't see her until Thanksgiving, so I needed a little Sunday dinner with Grandma.
Home
I just love going to my parents house. Even though they moved into this house when I was already in college so I never actually had a room, I still just love it. I love sitting on the desk and looking out at the green trees. I love how green Georgia is!
Chick-fil-A
mmmm mmm good :) A little find in the Atlanta airport while our flight to HH was delayed. And then maybe we had it again on Saturday :)
Moe's
Welcome to Moe's! A fabulous fast food southwest restaurant that puts Chipotle to shame :)
Key Lime Pie
I have a slight obsession with all things key lime, and Publix (a grocery store) has a really good Key Lime Pie.
Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
Do you see a theme here? :) I L-O-L-O-L-O-V-E the Key Lime Pie Ice Cream at Bruster's! I actually learned about it in Hilton Head last year. I saw it on the menu, got all excited and asked for a sample. They gave it to me, and I promptly decided it was the best ice cream ever! And that's saying a lot from a girl who LOVES ice cream. So, I asked for a scoop. The girl when back to dish me up a scoop and came back empty handed and told me they were all out. BUT THEY HAD JUST GIVEN ME A SAMPLE!! Who gives out a sample when there isn't enough for a whole scoop. Ever since I've been obsessed and get it where ever I can find a Bruster's Ice Cream shop :) The location in Hilton Head didn't have any more Key Lime Pie ice cream when we showed up on Wednesday. Devastation. I called them Thursday afternoon and asked if they had any. No. I begged them to make some. Probably. What! I needed my ice cream. I called on Friday. No. Devastation! Luckily we made a Bruster's run when we got back to Atlanta, and they not only had Key Lime Pie Ice Cream, but it was raining. And when it's raining (or snowing) at Bruster's you get a free scoop! mmmmm so tasty :)
I love food in New York, but there are just some things you can't get.
The Theatre
I heart the theatre in the basement. Saturday night we watched a little Casino Royale, Dirty Dancing and Veronica Mars. A perfect end to a fabulous trip.
Karen and Shannan just couldn't keep their hands off :)
Oh there are so many more things I love about my family and Atlanta, but these are a few highlights from last weekend. Good times.

Bryndee and I were talking in Chicago about how we needed to go to Atlanta. This post seals the deal. Thoughts?
Thoughts....mmm, let me think. DONE AND DONE! Name a weekend :)
Sept 28-30? We'll chat about this. Perfects over a Cosi TBM sandwich sometime this week when it's not downpouring?
