By my rough calculations it has been 751 days since I worked full-time. Wow. This morning that all changed. I set my alarm for the first time in weeks and now I'm a working girl once again.
A few First Day thoughts:
- I don't think I've typed on an actual keyboard (not my laptop) in 751 days. It's a little weird.
- Showing up for work at 9am is lots easier than showing up for an 8am class.
- I am going to learn so much more than I ever thought was possible about laundry!
- 25 cent Diet Coke
- A window with a view!
- I thought it would be a long, exhausting day, but dare I say it was fun?
So far so good. I think I'll go back again tomorrow. :)

I attribute bullet point #2 to the forthcoming paycheck that school did not provide...
Well I mean it's only day 1, but no that hour really makes a world of difference to me in the mornings. Plus no one is going to cold call me about a reading I didn't do!

Anyway, congrats on your first day of work. I like that you have calculated EXACTLY how many days it's been.

751 days? I am so jealous. It's only been 12 days for me.
Elizabeth, I may be out of control but sending your laundry out in Provo is beyond even me :) The company I work for makes laundry detergent.
