Yesterday I attempted to put up some shelves. I had my drill. I had my level. I was pretending to be very handy. And then I couldn't get the screw in the wall more than a centimeter or so. I tried so hard; I was frustrated and convinced the walls were cement. After sleeping on it I decided to give it one more try before I broke down and called a handy man. Don't worry. I had the drill on reverse. Yes, I'm that awesome.
* Mom thinks I'm lonely. Samantha keeps quoting Lorelei. Caisa laughed at me trying to put up a shower curtain rod. The list goes on. This apartment is an adventure. I've decided to share all of my embarrassing stories - because well someone needs to laugh with me!

Last night as Dave was assembling one of Claire's things, he asked me if I could have done it myself. I answered, of course, it would just take me a lot longer.
He didn't seem convinced considering I didn't know how to use the ratchet screwdriver.
It really must be an adventure living alone. Very funny.
Oh, Lorelai.
Glad you figured out the screwdriver.
I have totally done the same thing, more than once in fact. Let me know when Kirk starts following you around in a clowny car...
You're saying that you don't know how to use a drill? I am 100% shocked.
Been there. That's what handymen are for.
My favorite times and adventures were when I lived alone. Enjoy every second because one day you will have a husband trying to take the remote all the time and a baby you will re-decorate your living room around. Ahhh the joys.
