Cabo Wabo

For a family that loves chips and salsa (and I mean LOVES), beautiful weather, beach time, pool time, Mexican food and well more Mexican food, Cabo was the perfect vacation. Between Cancun last December and now Cabo I think we have consumed thousands and thousands of pounds of chips and pico! And loved every minute of it. Going back to school really is just an excuse for more graduation trips.

We stayed at a beautiful resort in Cabo San Lucas where we had a gorgeous view of the arch and could walk to downtown or down the beach for dinner. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was the perfect all week.

Photo shoots always happen when we're together.

And sometimes we accidentally match.

In Cancun someone offered Dad a drink and he responded by saying, "No thank you. We don't drink." Sam laughed at him and said, "No. We don't drink at all. Not even water or Diet Coke, Dad!" So now we always tease him about not drinking. But drink we did. In fact after the first day Sam was put on a two drinks per day pool bar limit.

After an exhausting week of laying out all day every day, Sam just couldn't keep up.

And we took the liberty of adding a little something she'd been re-reading all week.

We went on the most hysterical snorkeling boat trip. It was booze cruise meeting snorkeling at 9am . . . with eye candy employees. Sam renamed one guy Jacob and was convinced they would have the most beautifully bronzed, Ray-Ban wearing children.

Caisa, Shannan and Sam with their flippy floppies on the boat.

The last night we went back to our favorite restaurant for dinner and then a different restaurant for our favorite dessert. (This is not unusual behavior for our family!) Shannan being the aspiring chef/dietetics student that she is decided to walk right back into the kitchen, practice her Spanish and learn how to make the fried ice cream herself. She ended up sending about 20 minutes in the kitchen and making our dessert! She was in heaven.

Another fantastic family vacation.
