Discovering a really good Pinkberry knock-off. I've tried a lot of frozen yogurt places, and I am proud to endorse Spoon Me as the best knock-off I've ever had.
Thank you. All is right in Provo. All they need to do is add yogurt chips.

Oh and add the name Spoon Me to the "Only in Utah" category. Seriously.

Spoon Me is by far the best Pinkberry knock off there is. I was happy that they just put one in Sandy, so now I can get my fix any time I need.
What's with the no good day??
I haven't had Pinkberry in months. That is NOT ok. I may just have to take a trip to UT to test out your "best knock off" theory.
I don't even know what Pinkberry is. They have NO frozen yogurt places here. I've looked. And no juice bars. Just bbq. We have to go when I come into town.
Kristan, I'm a friend of Amanda, and a blog stalker. I decided to come out of lurking, because you are going to be in my home for book club, next month, so what better time than a post about frozen yogurt? Clearly, it follows.
Amanda has been telling me about Spoon Me for a while, but I thought it was only located in Sugarhouse, and I rarely go that far north. So, I clicked on the link from your blog, and discovered a new one opened in Sandy, so I went there on my way home.
Have to say, I like Red Mango better, and supposedly, Red Mango was around before Pinkberry. Apparently, there's a heated debate about that.
Anyway, welcome to book club, and I will be meeting you shortly!
Hi Kristina! I love that you went TONIGHT :) And yes there is quite the debate about Red Mango. First or not, I don't like it as much. It's more creamy in my opinion, and I like the tartness. But luckily there is a fryo craze right now so everyone has their options . . . well except for you Miss Elizabeth. And I'm so so very sorry for you.
Did you think Spoon Me was more creamy, or RM? I texted Amanda when I got home, and told her I thought that RM was creamier, which I liked. I will say the portions at RM were HUGE! I couldn't eat the whole thing. Lucky for Adam. :)
Red Mango is more creamy than Pinkberry. Spoon Me is more tart, like Pinkberry. I like the tart.
And, yes, yes we are having this discussion :) and that is why I love my life.
There is this place in Israel that was the best Pinkberry knock off, if not better. It was called Yogurt in true Israeli direct-fashion. I went literally everyday. Of course, I had to have my pinkberry a couple days after returning to the states.
No yogurt chips??
Go buy a bag and bring your own.
BYOYC.
I still have two more places to check out here in Portland before I can tell you my favorite Pinkberry knock off here. I'll work on that ;)
froyo=yougurt chips. wow just typing that makes me sad, but of course you can't enjoy froyo without candice. so i agree with lizzy. byoyc. oh and i miss you dearly.
and ps. have you tried coldstone's version? i'd ask you to give me your thoughts but you will anyways :)
