Revlon 5K

How often do you get to run down 7th Avenue and not have to dodge traffic? Well, once a year. Last Saturday I ran the Revlon 5k Run/Walk for Women. I've never been a runner, but my friends convinced me to do this with them three years ago and I just keep doing it. I won't lie, I was kind of praying for rain on Saturday so I wouldn't have to get out of bed. But no luck. It was actually a great run from Times Square through the Central Park. I couldn't believe how great I still felt at the finish line.

I'm so proud that you have kept the tradition alive...maybe next year we will have to meet back in NYC and do it as visitors. Or better yet, maybe we should find a new one to run somewhere else cool!

Oh my goodness! I am so impressed. At my current physical state, I could not run a 5k. Good job!

Well done, I often think I'll take up running like my boys. The theme tune from Rocky runs through my head and I make all the way to our alley about 50 yards away!

You remember the step aerobics class we took in high school? I think that was the last time I actually did something to break a sweat.

GREAT JOB ON THE 5K -- you're a better woman than me!!
