Slobber Slobber and more Slobber

I'm going to try to explaining #3 below, but really I think I'm just going to have to show you pictures. You won't get the whole experience, but pretend. I'm still a little grossed out just thinking about it again. Thursday we were going to go to Callaway Gardens to see their Christmas lights (which were great by the way), but Aunt Laurie and Uncle George told us about the Wild Animal Safari just a few minutes away that we should go to. They all just loved and it. So we went.

The Wild Animal Safari is a 500-acre wildlife "preserve" with lions, tigers and bears . . . okay, no bears, but deer, buffalo, zebra, ostriches and more. The animals roam free and you can ride through the park, watch and feed the animals from your car. Of course since the animal know the cars mean food they walk right to them and stick their head in wanting food. Because they come right up to the cars you have the option of renting one of their Zebra Vans in case you don't want to risk taking yours. That right there should tell you something. This is no Disney Animal safari.

This is how I looked when we got out. Oh, and I had the lucky seat next to the huge back of food, so I was stuck filling every ones cups back up with food. When we were done all we wanted to do was shower. We had to settle for washing our hands like we were prepping for surgery.

We rented a Zebra Van (yes, those are bars where the windows should be) and bought a 50 lbs bag of food. You should have heard the screams.
