1. The Beach
2. Sparklers . . . of course.
3. Stalking - and then being stalked by - a boy at church. It provided endless entertainment. There are five of us. We kind of stand out when we walk into places.
Week One:
Him noticing us at church and talking Dad up.
Shannan declaring he was not cute at all.
Then running into him working at Polo.
Shannan admitting she was wrong. :)
Week two:
Him trying to figure out our ages by covertly asking where we all went to school. (I non-descriptly said, "BYU, BYU, BYU and high school." Not helping him out. at. all.
Sam noticing him flirting it up with some girls one night while we were taking a walk on the beach.
Let's just say there was a facebook invite . . . but only one. And it was to the high schooler.
4. Introducing Sam to Tim Riggins and Matt Saracen. "One more episode. Come on. We can do one more." Two of my favorite things: TV on DVD and Friday Night Lights.
5. Football on the beach. There was a Dad playing with his little kids nearby, and when Shannan, Caisa and Sam heard that he was paying $1 for every catch they convinced Dad to do the same. Dad called it the safest bet he'd ever made. I guess it finally paid off for him that he never taught us how to catch a ball. :) But boy was it entertaining to watch.
6. Shannan's burnt to a crisp face. She was so sunburn her face was swollen. It was painful to look at, but since I've been there before I felt like I could laugh. She is going to kill me for this picture - which is at the end of the second day when she was "almost pretty" again.
7. Phase 10, never ending Uno games and Take Two.
8. Going to the outlet malls. Maybe more than twice.
9. "I wish we had kept a tally of all the icy pops we each ate. I bet I only had about 40." - Shannan "And Sam single-handedly had about 200."
10. Putt-Putt: "I'm pretty sure that was three strokes. Yeah, definitely three strokes." Sam is really good at cheating when she keeps score.
11. Our day-trip to Savannah. It is such a gorgeous city. I had really forgotten. The Southern charm. The Spanish moss and hundred year-old trees and streets and homes. Beautiful just beautiful.
Oh and our stop at Paula Deen's restaurant, Lady and Sons. We didn't actually eat there - way, way to long of a wait. But I did walk in and see this creepy Paula Deen cut-out everyone was taking pictures with.
Now I love pumpkin. But this grossed me out in the gift shop.
12. Family Dinners. "Now girls what did we learn from this? . . . Never go to sleep." Wisdom form Dad. Laughing. Diet Coke. Laughing and more Laughing. And while we waited for tables, Sam doing what she does best . . . texting.
12. I love my family!
Hope to see you again next year HHI!

Sparklers? FNL? Endless beach? Not to mention the HYSTERICAL Brooks girls? Um... I'm inviting myself next year.
Btw, great black swimsuit! Hot lady!
I think Caisa turned black over the weekend. And yes, you do look hot in that swimsuit. Good find.
in one of those pictures it looks like i might have actually caught the ball. i DO NOT cheat in putt putt. im just really that good. there's NO way i had 200 icee pops because you skanks kept taking all the good colors. and that last picture is from when we were driving over a bridge and i was very very scared.
What a fun trip! Your family definitely knows how to have a good time. I really like that black swimsuit. You look great!
