Three Movies:
One Good
One Interesting
One Bad
Five Minutes of Heaven

Five Minutes of Heaven had an interesting theme of reconciliation, acceptance and crimes of civil war. It was about the Northern Ireland conflict and followed two men - one Catholic, one Protestant, one a murderer, one the brother of the man he killed. It was fascinating, suspenseful, emotional and thought provoking. It won awards for World Cinema Directing and Dramatic and the World Cinema Screenwriting Award. Oh and I love Liam Neeson.
Brief Interviews with Hideous Men

John Krasinski . . . need I say more. This is an adaption from David Foster Wallace's book - and now I'm really interested in reading the book. Don't judge from the title; it isn't your typical men are evil chick flick. An anthropology doctoral student gets dumps and decides to study men looking for answers. The interviews are hysterical, bizarre and sometimes random. And in the end nothing is answered . . . leaving me with plenty of my own questions. I really wished there had been a Q&A after, but sadly there wasn't.
Dare

A high school drama that was just weird, awkward and bad. The good part - the lovely Matt Saracen aka Zach Gilford.

Um, I am SO SORRY I didn't call you back that night! I was at work when I heard your message and then I already had plans. I kept on meaning to call you back, but I forgot.
Please forgive me - and please let's hang out soon! (Although obviously not this weekend as you are going to NYC - I am green with envy!).
As usual, the perfect recap by KB. Still sad I missed Five Minutes of Heaven. But I'm so glad I got to hang out with you!!
