My Mom's sister, Daphne, married Rodger on September 27 in Galena Creek Park in Reno. The campgrounds were, well lots better than expected. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the weather was perfect. All of the family stayed in the lodge were the reception was held. There were two floors, each with eight rooms sleeping eight each - oh and one bathroom per floor. Yes, four sets of bunk beds. When you have little kids that don't have a lot of stuff or aren't all coming from their own homes with their own suitcases we probably would have been okay, but this is what my family's room looked like:

But we had fun. I saw family I hadn't seen in years - some of my little cousins aren't so little anymore.

Some of my cute little cousins. Blake, the youngest one up front, says "frog" just like another f-word. It's hysterical. Especially when his older brothers are egging him on.
While the men went shooting, the women did the flowers. I put this little arrangement together myself. Pretty impressive, huh.
Oh and we had s'mores. Lots of s'mores.
A fun family weekend. I'm sick now, but it was fun then.

S'mores are the best part of any camping trip - hands down.
Mmmm. I want some s'mores now. Looks like it was a fun weekend.
I like s'mores, I just don't like the fire in my hair smell. I especially don't like it, because it seems to linger longer than the normal head of hair. It takes about 3-4 deep washes. Yuck...but s'mores every once in a while is worth it.
