Happy Halloween

For as much as I love pumpkins and Fall, I don't actually like Halloween. I don't do scary movies, and I guess dressing up little kids can be fun and all, but adults - really? We all know it's just an excuse for woman to wear as few clothes as possible. Dressing up is not my thing. In the past few years my Halloween outfits have consisted of: 80's girl (yoga pants and an old sweatshirt I cut), Pink Lady (aka pink shirt, black skirt), Masquerade girl (black dress with an opera mask) and last year I think I just let Heather do some fun make-up. See not big on the dressing up thing.

So this year, once again, I went all out. It started out going the country girl route. Karen did a French braid in my hair, (Which side note, I really miss having my hair braided. My mom used to do it quite often, and I wish I was talented enough to do it on my own hair. But, considering I was in 7th grade before I could even put my own hair in a ponytail, I don't think enough practice will take place to actually see that happen.) and I added some freckles to my face (in case I don't have enough!). When Karen asked if I had a plaid shirt my response was, "Now why on earth would I have a plaid shirt. I'd never wear that." :) So I ended up putting on jeans and a normal shirt.

So, what was I for Halloween this year? I was Girl with Freckles.

Happy Halloween!
