As it is with every new generation of the iPod . . . I already want it, and it was just announced. The latest is the iPod Touch. And, now I can basically get the iPhone without the phone part – and without spending a fortune and switching to AT&T!
The iPod Touch has a 3.5 inch touch-screen you can surf the Web, store photos, watch YouTube videos, download music directly to your iPod, plus the normal watch videos and listen to music.
It launches later this month; an 8GB model is $299 and a 16GB model is $399.
Now if only I could justify it . . .

Hmmm, how can I break the ipod i already have without making it look like it did it on purpose? Then I would have no choice but to buy this one. . .
Seriously! I have the video ipod (now called the 'classic', man, I'm behind the times) and I recently justified a shuffle for all that running i do (bah!). Not sure I can talk myself into thinking I need a 3rd iPod. :) But I think I could help with your justification process. I'm all about buying more iPod's than you actually need.
