I drove to school, parked and then started to get out of my car. And then I heard it. Rip. I was pretty sure that my jeans had just ripped, but I didn't know how badly. But then as I continued to get out of my car I kept hearing the noise. Crap. I knew the tear was pretty bad, but class started in three minutes and I had to go. So I started walking to my building, slightly self-conscious but there weren't a lot of people around so I was okay. Then when I walked in the building I realized I had to walk up stairs. Stairs + A rip down my leg and butt = Not a good combination. And then I remembered: My Trench Coat.
So if you see me today and I'm wearing my trench coat indoors, you know why. It's kind of hysterical.
In fact I met Shannan for lunch, told her the story and of course she made me show her. I hadn't walked three feet (without my coat) before she was literally on the floor laughing.
It's been a good day.

*Not me, but I thought I had to throw a picture up there for effect :)

Hahahahh. I feel you this happened to me once. I didn't have the trench coat.
Thank goodness for trenchcoats
I've had a similar thing happen with a skirt that ripped, only I had no trench coat. It's not fun, but it is a little funny when you think about it.
Yeah, I once had a zipper break on my skirt. While I was volunteering at a temple open house. And I didn't notice it for quite some time. It was awesome.
And I totally thought that picture was of you at first and I thought you were SO brave to post it! (But also I thought you were a little crazy.)
Ha ha!! That's hilarious Kristan! God bless trench coats.
ha! thank you for this.
That reminds me of a time when I was planting tulip bulbs at Temple Square . . .
That picture is so funny. Especially because you are at BYU. Anywhere else and you could get away with a strange rip in your pants. How fun to have sisters around to laugh with!
That made me laugh. I remember freshman year Marie didn't wear anything underneath her trench coat. I guess they have multiple purposes.
