Moab Adventures

So what did I do in Moab? I saw my friends for the first time after our summer internships, I met some first-years and sure there were a few recruiters there, but really Moab was all about having fun.

A Hummer Tour: Next time you are in Moab, go on a Hummer Tour. It was pretty awesome - outdoor adventure meets rollercoaster, with far better views than a theme park. I drive a 4WD Jeep and I hate to go drive on gravel roads, but these Hummers went up rocks that I never would have thought possible. According to our driver the steepest grade we went up was about 48%. (Lombard Street in San Francisco is a 27%) These pictures don't do it justice, but it was fun.

A Rafting Trip: The stretch of river that we went on was extremely calm (only class one and two rapids) so to make the trip fun and not just a floating down the river experience, it became all out war. I am not exaggerating. It was war. It is a miracle there weren't any injuries, but there were two lost wedding bands and lots of bruises. And a ton of laughing.

My raft had a really fun guide (who was easy on the eyes too) who helped us voluntarily flip the raft. It was a blast. We maybe did it a few times :)

A "Little" Hike: We hiked up to the Delicate Arch. It was a short hike - uphill and hot - but gorgeous.

Fun and not too intense - my type of Moab trip.

So fun! Are there only six girls in your program?

Those girls are just the second year marketers that went on the trip. But there are only 30 girls overall in my year - out of about 150. The first years have about the same numbers. Definitely a huge minority.
