Notice the sign "God First Wood Works." The beer bottle, chicken and others - those are coffins. Yes folks, one day I could be buried in a Diet Coke can or anything else really. Dream big.
These kids were adorable - flying kites, playing soccer and asking us "How are you? How are you?"
Accra - the capital and city I'm staying in - is on the coast. My hotel and the place I'm working aren't right on the coast, but Monday we did a little exploring. This is the main harbor in James Town.
Oranges anyone? They are everywhere. The Ghanaians peel them with a knife and then just have pyramids of them on tables everywhere for sale.
Appetizing, huh - and you can't see the flies.
Every neighborhood is so very different. I hate being the obnoxious tourist taking pictures all the time - in case it's not already obvious that I'm white and don't live here - but I promise to take more.

Wow! What is the water like? I think you need to post a picture of your hotel!
I seriously can't believe you are there. . .
I'm with Lauren. It's like we're in alt world. You can't really be there!
